Rider FAQ
Can I view or download the route for the different lengths of the rides?

👉 11 miles
👉 20 miles
👉 40 miles
👉 66 miles
Are you using TraQCentral for a safer faster SAG response?
Yes! We’re excited to be modernizing your ride experience this year. Go here now to download the TraQCentral app, add your info, and search for “Cycling for Care.” And you’re all set! This will allow our command center to monitor your location during the ride, send you instant emergency updates, give you the ability to share photos and live route progress with friends and family, and most importantly: dispatch SAG support to you with precision (saving you time and frustration), and much more!
Can I call for SAG support?
Yes. Please dial 856-600-6514 to reach the ride command center. (Texting will not work) However, you can signal the command center for help with a single tap in the TraQCentral app. So we ask that you have TraQCentral setup and linked to Cycling for Care so that we can dispatch the nearest support vehicle to your exact location immediately. Please note: Our SAG team will only transport you back to the ride’s start. They are unable to perform any bike maintenance.
Will there be rest stops?
Yes. There will be a rest stop that each route will run through (except for the 11mi), and additional stops exclusive to particularly longer routes. (Refer to the Ride-with-GPS links above for exact stops). Expect water, snacks, and portable facilities (facilities will not be at the 3rd stop on the century route however.)
The address nearest the field where we’ll all stop is:
Springfield Twp Veteran's Memorial Park, 17 Island Rd, Jobstown, NJ 08041
Please note: this is an address to the house across the street, as the ball field itself doesn’t seem to have one listed. The rest stop is not at someone’s home. Please don’t ring/knock on their door.
Do we start and stop at the same place?
Yes. All the routes are circular and you will start and stop at Budds KnP Farm. There is an amazing country store and market here as well.
Where can we park?
Budds KnP has parking for us, straight back through the entrance.
What time does the ride begin? And when do you stop providing support?
The ride will begin at 8am, but you are encouraged to arrive earlier at 7:30 to prepare your gear and grab a bite to eat before getting in the saddle. All rest stations will be closed at 3pm. And by 4pm, the ride command center and main launching area will be closed. However, you are welcome to patronize Budds KnP according to their availability and hours thereafter.
How do I fund raise?
Create your own fundraiser for Cycling for Care here. Prizes to be announced soon for those who raise determined amounts. Not to mention that every dollar you raise goes directly towards helping a patient in need.
I’m not yet sure if I can make it, what’s the deadline to register?
We’ll be keeping registration open until the ride begins. So feel free to register whenever is convenient, before you show up for the ride. If you can’t make it, consider making a donation to support the cause, and even starting your own fundraiser.
What’s your plan if it rains?
We’re riding rain or shine.
